[action for one:]
[It's a very nice day, isn't it, Luceti?
Anyone who happens to be up by the cherry blossom tree hill might notice that there's someone asleep under the largest tree. He looks quite content, laid out in the grass with the green leaves giving him shade.
But, well, his clothes might tell a different story. Looks like there's another New Feather in town, and he's not going to be happy when he wakes up.]
[action:]
Cheap. Cheap. Hideous. Cheap.
[Hikaru Hitachiin is focusing all his attention on the clothes in front of him. Lots and lots of clothes and nothing he likes.
Of course, it's probably not really the clothes. It's his way of trying to process everything. Of being kidnapped, of having wings, of not having Kaoru, of being away from his club, of trying to deal with everything. The clothes are still awful, though.
Hikaru gives a frustrated groan as he throws a fourth shirt on the ground.]
All of these clothes are crap!
[written:]
[It's gotten late at night, and Hikaru's abandoned his search of the village for the guys. So, instead, he's sitting with his journal. Which is supposed to communicate with everyone, so.
Might as well try.]
Kaoru? Are you here? Answer me if you are.
Haruhi? Boss? Kyouya-senpai? Mori-senapi? Honey-senpai?
Anybody?

[Isamu had just entered when he heard Hikaru, and now he looks amused. He has his hands in his pockets, just watching the teen.]
What do you expect from free clothing, anyway?
[action]
[...Yep, he really is shouting.]
[action]
You realize that doesn't make any sense, right?
[action]
Then I'll make it simple, okay?
[There's an exaggerated roll of his eyes before he begins.]
See, where things are normal and they're freebies -- like at the commoner's supermarket -- of course the quality's going to be awful. Because you have the option to go and buy something better.
But there's no money here. Buying quality isn't an option. At all. So quality should be.
[His tone and expression convey one simple meaning: moron.]

Hey, what do you mean? Some of these shirts look so fly!
[Kurt himself is dressed something like this. Yes, with the exposed boxer shorts.]
[Action]
[Not a compliment. Not a compliment at all.]
Who supplies this place? They have no taste!
[Action]
Well to be fair, the Malnosso are the ones keeping us here, and I kind of doubt they have a scientist in charge of fashion. [He takes up one of the shirts and holds it up in front of him to see if it would fit] But most of these probably belong to the different people who live here.
[Action]
Then I am very, very sorry for them.
Awful fabric, horrible stitching...
How does anyone wear this stuff?
[Oh, look. Another shirt thrown to the ground as he goes through more.
Huh. Basketball jersey.
...Good stitching. Decent fabric. Over the arm and saved from the pile.]

action;
[Then again Cilan, you practically dress like a high-class waiter in a remote village so I don't think you're allowed to comment on appropriate fashion.
Also he has the voice of Tamaki's japanese seiyuu Mamoru Miyano so have fun with that Hikaru.]action;
[...And that shirt he just picked up? Three more go on the ground in its place.]
These things are awful. So cheaply made. I mean. Look at the stitching on that green one. It's horrible.
action;
The stitching on this one could use some work, though it's possible that the owner of this shirt doesn't have access to higher quality clothing or materials like we do where we're from. [Some of the people here are from worlds that had to do a lot of things by hand in the absence of technology, after all...]
action;
[He understands where he's from. Commoners can't afford anything better. But when there's no monetary impediment... Well. That should be, like, the one perk here.]
It's all so cheap.

I can help you pick out something if you'd like. They tend to bring in a little of everything, so sometimes it takes a while to find something decent. It's like a treasure hunt.
[Action]
I don't need help picking anything out.
[That he can do.]
But I do need someone else to sort these. Anything of even decent quality, I'll consider. Nothing cheap, okay?
[Action]
[Nonetheless, she does go looking through men's clothing that looks like it's of decent quality. She's wealthy enough to recognize quality when she sees it. At last, she finds a shirt that looks suitable.]
This isn't too bad. Try it on.
[Action]
[He glances at the clothes on the ground.]
I've gone through all of that.
[He shifts another hanger over, indicating the racks.]
I need someone to sort through these for quality. I can only do so much.
[This is why he hates being alone. Other people don't get it. Though... he looks at the shirt she indicated and takes it in hand, inspecting it himself.]
Not bad.

action;
All of them, you sure? That last shirt had potential.
action;
[Hikaru looks over his shoulder, arching an eyebrow incredulously.]
I mean, sure, it looks fine. On first glance. But -- ugh. That fabric.
action;
So you'd be fine with me taking it, hm? Thin [read: cheap] as it is, it's perfectly recyclable for costume material.

So Shinji kneels down and puts a hand on Hikaru's shoulder, giving him a light shake.]
Um, hey, wake up.
[action]
'm still tired. They can hold lunch.
[He has, at least, some perception of the hour. Probably because the sun is hitting him. But as far as processing that he's in an entirely new place, being woken up by a stranger... no so much.]
[action]
H-hold on, I need to ask you something.

Clearly, the proper and definitely not immature response to that feeling was to throw one of those discarded shirts at his head.]
Hey! Don't go throwing things around like you own the place! Don't you have any manners at all?
no subject
[Which doesn't really answer the "manners" question. Because, well, Hikaru knows where a lot of people would weigh in on whether or not he has manners. And absolutely none of those people matter.
Just like this girl doesn't matter.]
