This was kind of anti-climactic, y'know?

Well, someone warned the whole community and someone told me specifically this place screws with you on Valentine's Day.

But, oh look. February fourteenth, over. And nothing even slightly weird.

So boring.

This place does what with us? [Whoops lost her with the slang. But she recovers quickly enough, shaking it off and trying to not look like she wants to throttle him. She still has things she wants to ask him.]

Why on Valentine's Day? What is so special about it?

Beeeecause it's all about love and romance? So this place apparently goes crazy with that?

Apparently it's, like, a really big "get ready and hide" deal here.

If it is such a big deal that the entirety of this place reacts to it... Perhaps it is too soon to lower our guard. Those who have experienced it before likely have reason to worry.

[A frown pulls at her lips, and she's clearly a little worried.]

Valentine's Day is over. So. Apparently? Nothing to worry about.

Weeeell, when people talk about how awful it is and how much it does and how it's this big huge deal?

I would think that peace in place of an awful event would be relieving instead of a bore.

...This place has been nothing but peaceful since I showed up. I mean, seriously. So dull.

I recently found that the floor of my apartment had another person living on it - one who had been taken by the Malnosso for over a month before finally returning to find that there was someone else on the same floor of his building when she was not there before. If disappearances like that are commonplace, I would not think that this place is as peaceful as you seem to assume.

Nothing like that's happened to us. Just the whole "kidnapping us to bring us here, giving us wings" bull.

'Has not' is not 'will not', stranger. Just because it has not happened to you yet does not mean it is impossible for it to do so.

It's still boring.

Then simply find other ways to occupy your time, if boredom plagues you so.

Well, this place is supposed to be cool, y'know? So having this whole thing hyped up and then... non-event. So stupid.

I find it hard to believe that a prison so willing to take us from our homes and leave every last person, mortal or not, more vulnerable by attaching wings that have no use to us, is 'cool' in the least. [It still sounds so strange to say that slang but she'll continue anyway.] If you are so disappointed that nothing terrible is happened, you might as well cause something terrible on your own if you are that starved for it.

It's not as much fun if we cause it ourselves. Besides, none of our usual toys are here.

[Is she talking to a teenager or a child? Right now she's having trouble telling.]

Then simply find a new 'toy'. It cannot be that difficult.
